Ok, men are quick to say that women can be a bit obsessive when it comes to buying shoes, but what about the fellas? Wu-Tang Clan‘s Raekwon told WWD that he owns over 1,000 pairs of sneakers: “I’m a super-sneakerhead. Sneakers have a lot to do with my rhyming.”
His love for sneakers has inspired his latest album, Fly International Luxurious Art (F.I.L.A) slated to be released in June: “[‘F.I.L.A.’] is all about glamour, lifestyle and fashion. All of those elements are going to be in the music.”
The rapper owns sneakers that spans every brand from Gucci to New Balance. He says his obsession began when he first saw Run DMC rocking Adidas.
